Solar Powered Pedestal Orrery : Deluxe Wanderers Orrery mounted in Side Table

Introducing our solar powered Wanderers Deluxe orrery mounted within a pedestal/end table. The entire unit stands 3 feet high to top of Sun and the span of planets is 21 inches. the unit assembles (including end table) in about 20 minutes, so easy even a granddad can do it.
Within the pedestal base the discrete solar panel enables --by remote control--four timing modes: Constant on, 4 hour, 6 hour or 8 hour. When a timing model is selected the orrery will run for that period and automatically turn off. The next day it will automatically turn on at the selected time (this cycle will continue indefinitely until altered). The Orrery has a master manual switch (when or if the remote control is unavailable).
The pedestal orrery includes the following features.
~ Solid brass gearwork mechanism.
~ Earth/Moon system that depicts the compound motion of the Moon's orbit around the Earth while the Earth orbits the Sun.
--Semi-precious stone or brass planet sets available.
~ Correct relative motion of nine planets: Correct relative speed means the ratio of each planet's orbital time to one another is the same ratio as in real time planetary movement. Mercury orbits 1028 times around the Sun for a single orbit of Pluto, just as it is in our solar system. The model, however, speeds up the orbital times, so that actual movement can be discerned (e.g., it takes Earth a few moments to do an annual orbit, as opposed to taking 365 days).
The pedestal side table is modified by us to fit the deluxe Wanderers Orrery. The table is made of industrial waterproof MDF with a black iron frame and a rustic brown top and bottom shelf. Table dimensions are 15.75"*15.75"*24 while the planets span 20” inches atop the table.
