About Science Art Orrery Models and Designs

A family-run business, we have been handcrafting and selling our unique orrery models for over 30 years, first at art shows, then in fine art catalogs such as Gaiam, National Geographic, Astronomical Society of the Pacific, and Circa/Riverside Trading. We also ran a  science retail outlet, Science Artworks, on the Pearl St. Mall in Boulder CO for 7 years.  Now, we are entirely web based retail through our online sales channels. We currently list on Etsy and our website. 
We also do occasional custom and special projects forTV/Movie productions.

Please know:

• In early 2021 we were victims of copyright infringement by foreign companies who began manufacturing a brass/plastic trinket selling for $20-30 but using the photographic images of our Tower Orrery and other images of our orrery designs, which are unique to us.
• Although we actively attempted to take down these sites, they proved nearly impossible to stamp out. We have since hired professional help to remove these sites from selling platforms, however they still proliferate the internet. Read more about this copyright infringement here:

We have shipped many thousands of our orrery models all over the world and will continue to do so for many years. Our orrery designs are exclusive to us and are crafted here in beautiful Colorado USA
