We are excited to present our brand new handcrafted “Ad Astra” orrery, an heirloom-quality Solar System model meticulously produced by Nova Art LLC/Science Art. This unique piece stands as the most precise and mechanically accurate model we have ever created.

Precision and Excellence

The “Ad Astra” orrery is engineered to achieve an exceptionally small margin of planet-to-planet speed error—less than 0.07%. Its mechanism accurately represents the orbital periods of the planets, from Mercury to Pluto.

The clockwork elegantly demonstrates Earth’s 365.25-day orbit in just 10 seconds (as shown in the accompanying video). The other planets move in correct relative motion to this accelerated paradigm, providing an accurate and visually engaging representation of our solar system.

The “Ad Astra” orrery is now available for purchase for the 2025 holiday season. Each piece is carefully crafted and will ship from our Boulder, Colorado workshop—home to our family-run business since 1995—within two to three weeks of purchase.
